Start with the outcome you need.
Outdated service information, expired software subscriptions and broken enquiry routes can create avoidable work. Website care starts with an inventory of your current setup and an agreement about what will be maintained, how requests will be handled and which systems are your responsibility.
What we can include
- An initial review of the website and its hosting setup
- Agreed content updates and small improvements
- Backup and recovery arrangements appropriate to the platform
- Maintenance for supported website software and dependencies
- Checks of agreed forms, booking links and key customer journeys
- Support hours, response targets and exclusions defined in your proposal
Deliverables and responsibilities are confirmed in your proposal. The list above describes options to discuss, not an automatic package.
How we approach the work
Review the setup
Identify the platform, hosting, account ownership and software or third-party services involved. Confirm what access is needed and whether any initial repairs should be completed.
Define the care plan
Agree included tasks, update allowances and support hours. Separate routine maintenance from major redesigns, new integrations and urgent recovery work.
Maintain and review
Carry out the agreed work, keep a record of changes and review the plan as your business and website needs develop.
What determines the price?
The care fee follows the platform and agreed workload. Confirm whether hosting, paid extensions, content changes and restoration work are included. New features, major redesigns and work outside the support allowance should be quoted before they are started.
What to bring to the first discussion
Share the website address, platform details if known and a list of recurring changes you expect to request. Explain which forms or bookings matter most. Do not send passwords in an initial enquiry; secure access arrangements can be agreed when the scope is clear.
Common questions
Does a care plan include hosting?
It can, if explicitly included in the proposal. Hosting and website care are different responsibilities and should be shown clearly in the agreement.
Can you maintain a website you did not build?
We can assess it first. Support depends on the platform, access, existing condition and any restrictions imposed by the original supplier.
Is support available around the clock?
Support hours and response targets are agreed in your plan. A care plan should not be assumed to include round-the-clock or emergency cover unless it explicitly says so.
