Start with the outcome you need.
Your website should explain your offer before a customer has to ask. If the pages feel dated, the navigation is confusing or enquiries disappear into an unreliable form, a focused website project can improve the experience. Start with what customers need to understand, then decide what belongs on each page.
What we can include
- Website structure and page planning based on your offer
- Responsive design for phones, tablets and desktop screens
- Service pages, contact routes and agreed enquiry forms
- Search titles, descriptions and clear internal links
- Testing, launch preparation and a practical handover
- Optional ecommerce, integrations or ongoing website care, quoted separately
Deliverables and responsibilities are confirmed in your proposal. The list above describes options to discuss, not an automatic package.
How we approach the work
Understand your customers
Share your existing website, service priorities and examples of the enquiries you want. We identify the content, decisions and customer actions the site needs to support.
Agree the scope
The proposal sets out pages, functionality, content responsibilities, review stages and costs. Photography, copywriting and specialist integrations are identified before the build.
Build, review and launch
Review the website against the agreed scope, test the key journeys and prepare the launch. Existing useful URLs are considered when replacing an older website.
What determines the price?
A website quote depends on the number of pages, content, forms, ecommerce requirements and integrations. Ask for the build charge, hosting and any ongoing care to be shown separately. A monthly plan, if offered, should make ownership, contract term and included updates clear.
What to bring to the first discussion
Bring your current website address, logo and brand assets, service list and two or three examples of the work you want more of. If you are starting from scratch, explain your target customers and who will supply the content. We support businesses serving Reading, Berkshire and the wider UK; the website should describe the areas you genuinely cover.
Common questions
Can you improve my existing website?
Yes. We start by reviewing the current site and the changes you need. A focused improvement project may be appropriate; a rebuild is recommended only where the existing setup and scope justify it.
Can I add online payments or an online shop?
Ecommerce and payment integrations can be scoped as part of the project. Payment provider charges, subscriptions, product content and ongoing responsibilities are agreed separately.
Will the new website rank first on Google?
No ranking is guaranteed. We can prepare a search-friendly foundation and agree separate SEO work where useful, but competition, content and demand affect search results.
